Swinton Academy students celebrate GCSE success

HUNDREDS of students at Swinton Academy were celebrating passing thousands of exams yesterday.

Top performing students included Lucy Butterworth, who achieved two 8s, one 6, five A*s and three As and classmate Regan Webb, who notched up three 7, four A*s, three A and one B.

Emily Kettell can boast one 9, one 8, a 6, one A*, six As and one C, while Lauren Otley achieved one 9, two 7s, three A*, three As and two Bs.
