Summer fair time for older people’s ‘university’ group
A GROUP aimed at giving older people a new lease of life is holding its summer fair this week.
The University of the Third Age event takes place at Unity Centre in St Ann’s at 2pm on Friday.
Entry is £1 entry, including scone with jam and cream and drink and the event will showcase of activities for people over retirement age.
There will also be a bring and buy sale, produce stalls with jams and chutneys, games in French and Latin and gentle exercise and yoga sessions.
