Stabbing incident in Mexborough

Hartley Street has been cordoned off by police after the incident close to the Co-op Funeral Care premises.

An eyewitness has told the Advertiser that an air ambulance has attended the scene.

Another witness said that he saw a youth who was sat on a wall stabbed by another youth who then ran off.

A police investigation is underway.
