Soul Sessions aim for success with new EP: VIDEO

ROTHERHAM soul music duo Lauren Housley and Tom Dibb are dreaming of the big-time after clocking up thousands of views on YouTube.

Lauren and Tom (both 25), whose band is called Soul Sessions, have now released an EP called One Step Closer and are busy playing as many gigs as possible.

The couple, who met at Thomas Rotherham College, started their musical career in Newcastle, where Tom studied music at the university.

They built up a loyal fanbase, but moved to Manchester to further their career, where they met drummer Steve Pycroft, who is also from Rotherham, and started Soul Sessions.

In January, they performed at the Rotherham Civic Theatre in support of the SAFE@LAST charity and have also put on shows at the Woodlands pub in Clifton and the Yellow Lion in Greasborough, Lauren’s local pub, where they perform almost every month.

And next month they will be flying out to to play in Bulgaria.
