Snow 'increasingly likely' for Rotherham this week
Could we be waking up to scenes like this later this week?

SNOW could fall across parts of Rotherham later this week as temperatures drop.

The Met Office said snow showers were “increasingly likely” from Friday onwards with frost and ice also possible.

Forecasters said Tuesday would be mainly dry, with drizzly rain and sleet possible on Wednesday.

A forecast on the Met Office website said: “It will continue to become colder from Thursday to Saturday, accentuated by the easterly wind.

“It will generally be cloudy, with an increasing likelihood of snow showers from Friday onwards.”
