Snow causes transport chaos in Rotherham
Snow has caused huge disruption for the borough's commuters.
Major routes have been closed, many made impassable, and bus services have been cancelled after around four inches of snow fell in just over an hour, this morning (Tuesday 5).

Hide AdAmong the list of current closures announced by police are: A6195 Dearne Valley by-pass; Doncaster Road, Conisbrough; Alma Road, Rotherham; and Meadowbank Road and Meadowhall Road, Kimberworth.
"Snow is still falling in many areas," said a police spokesman.
"Drivers should not venture out unless really necessary and if they have to should make sure they stick to the main roads."
Many of the borough's bus services have also been struck down by the bad weather.

Hide AdThe X78 is missing out side roads in Conisbrough while gridlocked traffic is causing delays to the 25, 29 and 34 services.
According to the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive Stagecoach Yorkshire
has suspended all its services in Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and Dearne Valley for the time being.
