Six years for death crash driver
A SPORTS car driver has been jailed for six years after he was found guilty by a jury of causing the death of his friend by dangerous driving.
Stephen Cape (25), of Nursery Road, North Anston, was also banned from driving for seven years after he crashed into a tree and his 21-year-old passenger Mark Bingley was killed.
Cape, who remembers very little of the smash on Lamb Lane, Firbeck in April last year, had pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving but denied the more serious charge during a week long trial at Sheffield Crown Court.
