Shame of 'James Bond' air pistol gunman
Mohammed Azad Naseer (19), was locked up for two years at Sheffield Crown Court in July after admitting possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence during the incident in January this year.
Naseer, of Josephine Road, Rotherham, brandished a gold-coloured air pistol—with echoes of the weapon used by the villain in the James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun”—after he and friends walked into a house in Cavendish Road, Ferham, London’s Appeal Court heard.

Nasser pulled the trigger, said Mr Justice Henriques, causing a loud bang and “discharge of air” before loading the pistol with pellets and blasting them into the walls and furniture of her home.
The “immature” gunman’s case reached court as he successfully challenged his sentence.
The prosecution had claimed that pellets fired from the gun could puncture skin and that the weapon was potentially lethal.

The Appeal Court cut Naseer’s sentence to 18 months.
