Jaguar Estates went back to the drawing board after Rotherham Borough Council ruled its original proposal would be “detrimental” to the area’s appearance.

The new design for the five buildings on the Magna 34 Business Park in Templeborough was accepted.

A council spokesman said: “The design has been altered from the previous refusal, by incorporating different shades of grey cladding and more brickwork and glazing facing Sheffield Road.

“The development now represents an acceptable and appropriate form of development which would not adversely affect the character or appearance of the area.”
