Rotherham to bask in sunshine as temperatures soar

PARTS of Rotherham could bake in temperatures of up to 25°C this weekend as a mini heatwave hits the UK.

The Met Office said the mercury will rise throughout the week with sunshine becoming more prevalent.

On Monday and Tuesday temperatures could reach 22°C but people ought to be reaching for the sun cream by Friday and Saturday — parts of Rotherham could sizzle in 25°C.
