HOUSEHOLD recycling centres will be operating longer hours following the change to British Summer Time.
Rotherham Borough Council’s tips at North Anston, Greasbrough, Rawmarsh and Bramley are now all open from 10am until 6.30pm six days a week.
People living in the borough can use the sites to recycle household waste free of charge.
The changes will remain in place until October 30 - when British Summer Time ends.
Residents are advised each centre closes one day per week as follows:
Magilla (North Anston) is closed every Tuesday.
Car Hill (Greasbrough) is closed every Wednesday.
Warren Vale (Rawmarsh) is closed every Thursday.
Lidget Lane (Bramley) is closed every Friday.
