Rotherham mosque plan deferred for more talks

PLANS for a new £3m Rotherham mosque have been put on hold again.

Members of Rotherham Council’s planning board today deferred consideration of the proposals for more discussions between the Rotheham Mosque Trust and the operator of the neighbouring Simms Wood Garage about lorry access.

The councillors visited the Chapel Walk site today.

It is the second time in two months that the plans have been defererred.
