Rotherham man in hospital after pub assault

A ROTHERHAM man was taken to hospital after being assaulted in a Lincolnshire pub.

Police were called to the incident at the Sealands Hotel on Roman Bank, Ingoldmells, on Sunday night, where the 41-year-old victim was attacked.

He was taken to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital with a head injury which police said was not life-threatening.

A 31-year-old woman, from Rotherham, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
