Rotherham health trust one of UK's best

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust was confirmed as one of the highest scoring in the CHKS Top Hospitals Programme Award, under which every trust in the country is assessed.

The CHKS Top Hospitals Programme Awards are based on the evaluation of 23 key areas of performance covering safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care.

Brian James, TRFT’s chief executive, said: “This is an excellent result.

“I’d like to congratulate all trust staff, as this could not have been achieved without the dedicated contributions of employees from across the organisation.”

The CHKS Top Hospitals Programme Awards help to provide reassurance to patients, members of the public and staff and hospital boards that their trust is among the highest performers in the country.
