Rotherham bike passenger dies in crash
A WOMAN passenger from Rotherham riding pillion on a motorbike has died in a crash near York.
The 39-year-old, who has not yet been named, after the bike she was travelling on came off the road on the A1237 at Knapton at 11.15am on Sunday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The motorcycle’s rider, a man who is also from the Rotherham area, received “non life-threatening” injuries.
