DEFENDING Masters Champion Danny Willett will serve up a taste of Yorkshire at his Champions Dinner tonight.
The dinner has been held on the Tuesday of Masters week every year and was started by two-time Masters winner Ben Hogan in 1952.
Rotherham Golf Club pro Willett, who stunned the golfing world with his victory last year, will go all-out with a Yorkshire-themed dinner.
To start, there is cottage pie with Henderson’s Relish and the centrepiece is roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, with apple crumble for dessert.
Willett approaches his title defence at Augusta under no illusions about the size of the challenge ahead.
Only three players have ever successfully defended a Masters title and Willett knows that even the best golf of his career may not be good enough for a repeat.
