RMBC commissioner made a dame in Queen’s birthday honours list
She was one of the commissioners appointed to Rotherham by Government in 2015 after the CSE scandal.
Ms Manzie’s citation acknowledged her “outstanding” record of transforming public services in challenging areas.

Hide AdBefore arriving at RMBC, she spent seven years as boss of Coventry City Council, overseeing its turnaround from being one of the country’s worst-performing authorities.
She was also director general for finance at the Scottish government and led Barking and Dagenham Council in the run up to the 2012 London Olympics.
She left Rotherham after a year following the appointment of a permanent chief executive Sharon Kemp.
