Risk of ice on Rotherham roads
FROST and ice could cause problems for commuters this morning (Tuesday).
Heavy showers on Monday evening were followed by sub-zero temperatures overnight, leading to ice on untreated surfaces.
A Met Office yellow ‘be aware’ warning remains in place until 10am but temperatures are expected to rise quickly.
Outbreaks of rain have been forecast throughout the day today with a maximum temperature of 7 °C.
