Rider seriously hurt in moped crash
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a moped driver suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident in Rotherham.
Officers believe that a silver Toyota Yaris and a white Vespa Piaggio scooter were involved in a collision on Droppingwell Road, Kimberworth Park, at 1.40pm yesterday.
The 49-year-old moped driver was said to be in a life-threatening condition in hospital today.
