Rider hurt in Rotherham town centre crash

A MOTORCYCLIST hurt in a crash yesterday suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, police said.

The rider — who has not been identified by police — collided with a car at around 6.35am on Greasbrough Road.

A police spokesman said the biker was conveyed to hospital, but that their injuries were “not life-threatening”.

She added that the car driver is not thought to have been injured.

Anyone who witnessed the crash should call South Yorkshire Police on non-emergency number 101.
