Recycling site set for two-month closure
The Lidget Lane centre at Ravenfield will close on Monday to allow for improvement works as part of Rotherham Borough Council's programme to refurbish and improve each of its four recycling centres.
The programme is being funded by a £1.05 million Defra Waste Infrastructure capital grant.

Alternative centres are at Warren Vale, Old Warren Vale, Rawmarsh, Car Hill, Greasbrough Road, Rotherham and Magilla at Common Road, North Anston.
During the closure period any access permits issued for trailers or small vans at Lidget Lane will be accepted at any of the centres listed above.
Access permits for large vans will only be accepted at either the Magilla site or Car Hill site.
