Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union will hold two 24-hour strikers due to worsening disputes over the role of guards and driver-only operated trains.

RMT members at Arriva Rail North, Southern, Merseyrail, and Greater Anglia will walk out on Tuesday, October 3 and Thursday, October 5.

Northern, the trading name of Arriva Rail North, operates services across Yorkshire, including routes from Rotherham Central to Leeds and Wakefield.
