Pupils stop out for charity
THOUGHTFUL pupils got out their walking boots and stepped up to raise £789 for two worthwhile causes.
Youngsters from Northfield Lane Primary School in Wickersley took part in a sponsored walk and decided to share the money between the school and Histiocytosis UK–a charity dedicated to supporting people with the cancer-like condition.

Their mum, Emma Boyle, said that she was delighted to receive a cheque for £380 from the kind-hearted children.
She said: "I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the children and staff at Northfield for helping raise this money."
