Police target Rotherham's rogue drivers

Operation Impact ran throughout Tuesday, involving more than 50 police officers and PCSOs.

They targeted hotspots where theft from cars, road tax dodging and uninsured driving were known to be most prevalent.

Officers advised motorists on how to avoid becoming victims of car crime, as well as stopping suspicious vehicles with help from number plate recognition cameras.
