Police seize £45k and arrest man on suspicion of money offences after Broom raids
POLICE seized around £45,000 after raiding several properties in Broom today (Wednesday) and arrested a man on suspicion of money laundering and fraud.
Officers seized the money under the Proceeds of Crime Act as part of an ongoing operation to stop criminality within communities, said a South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman.
Officers collected an estimated £45,000 during the raids and the 29-year-old man has been released under investigation, she added.
