Police seek Rawmarsh hit-and-run driver

A MAN was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident.

The 27-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car on Claypit Lane, Rawmarsh, at around 6pm on Sunday, August 6.

The car, the description of which is unknown, left the scene and the pedestrian was taken to hospital.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, or people who were in the area at the time, to contact them.

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 870 of 6 August.
