Police praise for rape victim
The 16-year-old was attacked on her way home by Radu Rostas (30), of St Ann’s Road, Rotherham.
Rostas will be sentenced next month for the attack in Sheffield last October.

Hide AdA jury at Sheffield Crown Court heard how Rostas followed the teenager who had been walking along Broad Street after babysitting a family friend.
He grabbed her from behind and dragged her to a grassy area where the rape took place.
Following the attack, the girl telephoned the police who searched the surrounding area and arrested Rostas on suspicion of rape.
He was charged the following day and remanded into custody.
Detective Constable Nicky Cooper, who led the investigation, said after Rostas’ conviction on today: “I’d like to take this opportunity to commend the victim for the courage she has shown throughout our investigation and for her incredible bravery in taking the stand to tell her story.
