Police officer hurt in street disturbance
THREE men were arrested following a disturbance yesterday evening in which a police officer was injured.
Police officers were called to Broom Valley Road, Rotherham, at about 8.50pm following reports of a disturbance in the street.
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of an offensive weapon and assaulting a police officer.
The three men remain in police custody at this time.
The officer suffered minor injuries during the incident.
