Police name fatal Maltby crash woman

Diana Maria Hunt (58) from Hatfield died when the red Toyota Aygo she was driving collided with a black Ford Focus and a van emerging from Maltby Colliery.

Two female passengers in Ms Hunt's car also died in the smash, which happened on Tickhill Road at around 5.30pm.

The other women, aged 66 and 76, have not yet been named while police inform their extended families.

The Focus driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the van driver was not injured.

Officers urge anyone who witnessed the crash to call them on 101, quoting incident 913 of November 26.
