IT was a case of full steam ahead to North Anston at the weekend as the village hosted a showcase of hot vehicles.

There were plenty of attractions to entertain the crowds at last weekend’s Sheffield Steam and Vintage Club Rally.

Held on Saturday and Sunday at Rackford Road, the 44th annual rally featured steam-powered road rollers, road engines and showman’s engines, as well as fairground organs, stationary engines, old cars, motorcycles, lorries, vintage caravans and military vehicles.

There were also stalls, fairground rides, donkey rides and a fun dog show.
