Peterborough have Moore bid accepted

ROTHERHAM United's League One rivals Peterborough United have reportedly had an offer accepted for hot-shot striker Kieffer Moore.

Reports circulating in the Peterborough Telegraph this morning indicate that Posh have had a bid of around £250,000, plus add-ons, accepted by Moore's club Ipswich Town, although it states it is not yet a done deal.

Moore spent the first half of the season on loan with Rotherham, scoring 13 times, but was recalled by the Tractor Boys on January 1.

Millers boss Paul Warne has made clear his intentions of trying to sign Moore on a permanent deal and said after Monday's draw with Blackburn that the club had submitted an offer.

Peterborough director of football Barry Fry said: "We have had a bid for Kieffer Moore accepted by Ipswich.

“But there are a lot of add-ons attached which our chairman might not fancy.

“We believe Moore playing alongside Jack Marriott with Marcus Maddison supplying the crosses would be formidable in League One."
