Pet ban for man who punched dog in face

A MAN who punched a dog in the face has been banned from keeping pets for two years.

Johnathon Farrand (43), of Quarry Lane, North Anston, admitted at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (24) to causing an animal unnecessary suffering.

The incident happened in Laughton-en-le-Morthern in December last year.

Farrand was banned from keeping animals for two years and was ordered to pay £85 costs.
