Pedestrian dies in Rotherham town centre crash
A PEDESTRIAN has died after being hit by a van in Rotherham town centre.
Police, ambulance and fire service staff were called to Howard Street at about 3.50pm.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road closures were put in place and police have appealed for witnesses.
Anyone with information is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident 617 of August 21.
