Overturned van led to road closure
AN OVERTURNED van caused delays for motorists yesterday.
The A57 Aston Bypass was closed after a Scania van tipped over on the roundabout near the junction with Mansfield Road at around 10am.
Traffic was diverted through Aston and Swallownest while the vehicle was recovered.
A police spokesman said the road re-opened at around 3pm and no-one was injured in the incident.
