Overturned lorry leads to M1 slip road closure

AN OVERTURNED lorry is causing rush-hour misery for commuters this morning (Tuesday).

The northbound entry slip road to the M1 at junction 34 near Meadowhall is closed while emergency services recover the vehicle.

The incident has also led to heavy traffic on A6109 Meadowhall Road and Meadow Bank Road.

The slip road is expected to re-open at around 10.15am.

Drivers have been advised to expect delays.
