Overturned car leaves woman trapped

A WOMAN had to be rescued from her vehicle after it overturned on a road in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services were called at around 2.20am Saturday to reports of a collision in Main Street, Bramley, involving a blue Ford Focus.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended including three fire crews from Aston, Maltby and Rotherham.

The incident was near to the junction with the King Henry Pub and no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.

The woman driving the Focus was taken to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be serious.

Firefighters left the scene at 3.20am.
