One hurt as crashes disrupt M18 traffic
TWO CRASHES within 20 minutes on the M18 involving five vehicles left one person injured and disrupted traffic for around two hours today.
Two cars and a van were involved in the first accident on the southbound section near Bramley at about 8.10am in which one person was injured and taken to hospital.
About 20 minutes later, at around 8.35am, there was a second collision about 40m away from the first crash scene involving a lorry and a car.
Police said there were no injuries but two lanes were closed for debris.
Lanes were re-opened at around 10am.
