Nominations sought for Stan Crowther award

ARCHITECTS and builders are being urged to enter projects for an environmental award.

The Stan Crowther Environment Award, organised by Rotherham District Civic Society, is awarded every two years for architectural treatment of a new building or refurbishment.

The trophy was recently renamed after former MP Mr Crowther, the society’s Honorary President, in recognition of his long service to the organisation and the town.

The present holder of the award is Breathing Spaces on Badsley Moor Lane, Rotherham.
