No reason to strike

Sir, I went to sign on recently to find staff from the employment office outside with placards which read fair pay and conditions say no to cuts.

I quietly told the lady of twenty years' service to put her placard down and go back to work before someone took her place.

Ialso told her she had press ganged people into work with no working conditions and no rights for the last twenty years. Now someone from the EU was here to do her job for less pay, less holidays and very little working rights and she had the cheek to strike for fair pay and conditions.

What goes around comes around.
