New milestone reached by Mazda MX-5
The car entered the Guiness Book of Records as the world’s biggest selling sports car after securing 880,000 world-wide sales back in 2000.

Hide AdThe MX-5 has been around for 20 years and has the run of the affordable sports car market since the departure of Toyota’s MR2.
It’s a position which has helped secure sales for Mazda in recent years.
Around 40 per cent of all cars sold by the Japanese manufacturer in Europe are MX-5s.
Mazda UK Sales Director Mark Cameron was quick to pay tribute to the MX-5’s role in Mazda’s success this week. He said: “The legendary Mazda MX-5 is the car most people associate with Mazda.
