New members wanted for over 55s group

Charity 5th Age has been providing social activities for more than 20 years to prevent people becoming isolated or lonely.

The group meets on Tuesdays at Christ Church on Rotherham Road, Swallownest, for games, chats and films.

The sessions between 2pm and 4pm cost £1.50 for tea and biscuits. The building has step-free access.

There will be a 5th Age “get to know us” event on July 15 from 2pm for anyone interested in finding out more about the group.
