New home for terns - no previous owner
SPLENDID new homes are giving birds a plush new place to stay at a nature reserve.
Two tern rafts have been built at the Garganey Trust’s Broomhill Flash nature reserve.
It is hoped that terns visiting the reserve to breed will use the rafts as nesting sites.
The tern rafts were installed with the help of a team from the RSPB’s Old Moor nature reserve nearby in Manvers and volunteers.
