My battle with bulimia, by Lara Croft model Lucy Clarkson

FORMER Lara Croft beauty Lucy Clarkson has been telling Rotherham schoolchildren about her battle with the eating disorder bulimia.

Rotherham-born Lucy, was being interviewed by students at Wickersley School for the BBC School Report programme.

Lucy—who was the Lara Croft model between 2000 and 2002—attended Wath Comprehensive before being spotted by Vivienne Westwood, battled bulimia for five years before finally beating it with the help of family, fiance fiancé Michael Parnes and an eating disorder clinic.

She told the students how she developed the illness, in which sufferers repeatedly make themselves sick, atfer moving to London at the age of 16 to become a model.

She told the Advertiser: “Eventually the bulimia just went away. Mentally I think it will always be with me but physically it’s gone.”
