Murder victim postmortem 'inconclusive'

Detectives are continuing inquiries into the death of a 43-year-old man found at a flat in Badsley Moor Lane early on Tuesday.

A police spokeswoman said: “A postmortem carried out yesterday proved inconclusive and further forensic tests will now be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.

“Enquiries remain ongoing in the local area to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding his death.”

Two men, aged 19 and 23, and a 30-year-old woman were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murder. They have been released under investigation.
