Motorcyclist dies after smash

A MAN has died after his motorcycle was in collision with a car in Edlington on Sunday evening.

The 20-year-old rider of a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle was travelling towards Balby, on Broomhouse Lane, when it was in collision with a green Ford Fiesta at around 8.25pm.

The Fiesta had just turned left from Bernard Road and was travelling in the opposite direction towards Old Edlington.

The rider came off the machine, which hit a nearby boundary wall.

The motorcyclist was from the Doncaster area.
