A MOTORCYCLIST has died after being in collision with a HGV lorry in Maltby last night (Wednesday).
The 31-year-old man was travelling along the A631 Tickhill Road, Maltby, on a white Suzuki motorbike at around 5.30pm when it collided with a white Scania HGV lorry
The motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries, a South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said.
"It is believed the driver of the HGV had been attempting to turn right out of the Maltby Colliery junction onto the A631, when the collision with the motorcyclist occurred.
“An investigation is currently ongoing and officers are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen the collision, or manner of driving prior to the collision to please report it.”
