More jobs for the boys

I WAS astonished to read in The Advertiser that the council are advertising for three £65,000 jobs to tell them how to slash £9 million from adult social care, which should not be happening anyway.

As usual we have a council once again creating jobs for the boys. This consultation should be carried out with existing managers for adult services and the council. I am beginning to believe that we still have a council that is unfit for purpose.

You do not need a degree to carry out this procedure, only a degree of common sense which doesn’t seem to be prevalent in the council chambers.
