Moore axed by Millers

ROTHERHAM United have parted company with manager Ronnie Moore. Have your say.

Moore was told that Friday's 5-0 slamming at Chesterfield was the final straw following a meeting with chairman Tony Stewart last night. Stewart furiously walked out of the B2net stadium before full time on Friday.

No official statement has yet been made but Paul Warne and Andy Liddell will take charge of the team for Friday's trip to Lincoln City.

The Millers have slumped out of the automatic promotion frame in League Two following a dismal run since Christmas and are in danger of slipping out of the play-off picture.
