Money advisers host bill-slashing workshop at Rotherham Hospital

This week is Big Energy Saving Week and representatives from Rotherham and District Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) will be out and about offering help.

Residents are invited to meet the team who will be at Rotherham Hospital on Friday (31) from 10.30am to 4pm.

Annette Cassam, chief executive of Rotherham CAB, said: “The rising cost of living means that more and more people are finding that their household budgets won’t cover day-to-day essentials.

“We’re keen to make sure that no-one pays a penny more than they need to on energy costs.

“There are practical things that people can do to reduce their energy bills and help ease financial pressure.”

Big Energy Saving Week is a national campaign run by Citizens Advice and supported by charities, the Government and the energy industry to help consumers check they are on the best deal.
