Millmoor soccer kids backing troops

JUNIOR footballers are pledging their support to a Christmas parcel appeal for troops.

Millmoor Juniors Football Club are throwing their players behind the national Support Our Soldiers Christmas shoe box appeal in a bid to get festive gifts out to front-line troops.

Donations can range from Christmas-themed treats including decorations and Santa hats to general items such as toiletries and confectionery.

All donations will be forwarded to the Support Our Soldiers Rotherham co-ordinator who will organise delivery of the shoe box gifts to troops in time for Christmas.

Anyone with donations is asked to take them to the juniors' pavilion at Grange Park, off Droppingwell Road, Kimberworth on a Saturday or Sunday during the next month.
